Dadibaajimo - Storykeepers: The Voices We Carry Across Generations
Join us to explore Indigenous protocols and strategies for reclaiming the ancient art of storytelling. Dadibaajimo, the practice of carrying personal and family histories, is a powerful cultural tradition that connects us to our ancestors through spirit, ceremony, and time. Storytelling is vital for rebuilding Indigenous family histories, communities, and nations—linking past, present, and future generations. This session will share ways to revitalize language, interpret residential school records, and carry forward stories of resilience that strengthen our collective well-being as Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island.
