How It Works

When you add your family, we can search for your relatives that may already be in the tree.

Discover your relatives

3 easy steps to finding your relatives

1

Step 1

Add relatives to family tree

Starting with your parents, add living and deceased relatives as far back as you can. Only you can see the living family members.

2

Step 2

We’ll look for matches

We search Family Tree for matches to deceased ancestors to see if you are related to others in the tree.

3

Step 3

Discover your relatives

We'll share what we find and show you how you are related to other RootsTech 2026 attendees.
