Shaun Stahle
Shaun Stahle’s lifelong journey in journalism began at age five when his father enlisted him to help haul newspapers off the press for the family-owned weekly. From those early mornings to decades in professional newsrooms, Shaun developed a deep appreciation for the power of words to inform, connect, and inspire.
After serving a mission in Vienna, Austria, and earning a communications degree from Brigham Young University, Shaun managed a rural weekly newspaper, worked at a mid-sized daily, and ultimately spent several decades with the Deseret News, primarily in the Church News section. There, he witnessed and recorded historic moments of faith, often feeling humbled to see the Lord’s hand in His work.
Now retired, Shaun continues to share his talents as a service missionary for the Liahona magazine while cherishing time with his ten grandchildren. His life reflects a rich tapestry of experiences in storytelling, faith, and family—connecting the dots of a remarkable career and personal journey.
