L’anziano Dale G. RenlundL’anziano Dale G. Renlund è stato sostenuto come apostolo de La Chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni il 3 ottobre 2015. L’anziano Renlund ha servito come Settanta Autorità generale da aprile 2009 fino alla chiamata nel Quorum dei Dodici. In precedenza ha servito nella presidenza dell’Area Africa Sud-Est.
Dopo aver conseguito una laurea e un master presso la University of Utah, l’anziano Renlund ha ricevuto ulteriore formazione in campo medico e nella ricerca presso il Johns Hopkins Hospital. È stato professore di Medicina alla University of Utah e direttore del programma di trapianto cardiaco degli Utah Transplantation Affiliated Hospitals (UTAH).
L’anziano Renlund ha servito in molti incarichi nella Chiesa, tra cui quello di missionario a tempo pieno in Svezia, presidente di palo, vescovo e Settanta di area.
L’anziano Renlund è nato a novembre 1952 a Salt Lake City, nello Utah. Ha sposato Ruth Lybbert nel 1977. Hanno una figlia.
