Martha Kaiser, BSEE, MS

Martha Kaiser is a biomedical informatics researcher and hereditary cancer advocate whose work bridges personal experience, family history, and data-driven health. After learning she had inherited a pathogenic CDKN2A germline mutation, she became actively involved in volunteer efforts within the hereditary cancer community. What began as a personal effort to trace her mutation through family genealogy soon grew into a broader pursuit, combining family history, genetics, and collaborative research.

With an engineering background and a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University, Martha now works as a researcher on a federally funded project focused on improving substance use disorder record sharing, consent, and interoperability across healthcare systems.
