Caileigh McGraw

Caileigh McGraw is a professional genealogist specializing in Latin American and Southern European research. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University. She was a Digital Inventory Specialist for FamilySearch and an Online Adjunct Instructor for Brigham Young University-Idaho teaching Introduction to Genetic Genealogy. She created multiple finding aids for the FamilySearch Research Wiki including the Costa Rica Catholic Church Parish Finding Aid and has continued the research for this project for Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Brazil. Her primary genealogical research focuses on enslaved families in Brazil during the time of the Lei do Ventre Livre (The Free Womb Law) and Italian emigrants to Santa Catarina, Brazil.
