Kathryn Moore, AGKathryn Moore is an Accredited Genealogist® with over fourteen years of professional genealogy experience and currently serves as the in-house Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogist for the Utah State Bureau of Investigation. Kathryn is passionate about using DNA evidence to uncover identities and tell human stories. As a founding member of Ancestry’s unknown parentage research team, she helped hundreds of clients identify biological family members and find healing through those discoveries. She later applied her expertise to forensic work at Othram Inc., assisting law enforcement agencies nationwide in identifying unknown human remains and unknown subjects through advanced genetic genealogy methods. Through her work, Kathryn is dedicated to restoring identities, bringing answers to families, and demonstrating the powerful role genealogy can play in healing and justice.
