Deep Roots: Tracing Arab Tribal Lineages

In this class participants will learn how to identify and use modern and classical sources to discover the deep roots of their tribe and trace their own tribal lineage. This can be particularly useful for Arabs in the diaspora who want to connect with their tribal roots. Learners will be introduced to tools that will help them identify and access sources they can use to trace their own lineages. This class is for non-specialists in ‘ilm al-ansab.
