This session will help attendees to identify logical sources and efficiently prioritize research steps. Those coming to this session would benefit from understanding the elements of the Genealogical Proof Standard as well as bringing a laptop to the session.

Effective research questions should be about a specific person that will help to frame the research scope. This will lead to relevant information and hopefully will identify evidence that will answer the research question. This session will discuss how to determine and write effective research questions to guide your research strategy and process.
