Sharlene Habermeyer, Masters Degree (MA)Sharlene has been researching her ancestors since 1985 and has amassed thousands of names and hundreds of stories. She has taken that passion and developed ideas on how to teach children/teens to have a love for and connection to their ancestors through meaningful, fun, and engaging activities.
She holds a master’s degree in education from Pepperdine University and taught college for 10 years. Author of “Good Music Brighter Children;” she started a community orchestra in 1999 and has presented at dozens of conferences across the United States. Sharlene has appeared on television and radio and writes a blog about ancestor ideas to engage your children/grandchildren with. She is the mother of 5 boys.
