Running an Effective FamilySearch Center

The FamilySearch centers of the Church offer an opportunity to connect with and serve members of the community with even a casual interest in learning more about their families. In this class we will talk about ideas and approaches for working with Church leaders and with local communities to make centers an inviting and exciting place to connect and to provide positive family history experiences for those who would like some personal help exploring and learning.

Participants in the panel discussion include:

  • Lynne Takahashi, Yuba City CA Center consultant
  • Isabel Andrade, Lisbon Portugal Center consultant
  • Mary Anderson, Tacoma WA Center consultant
  • Elder William and Sister Margaret Huang, FamilySearch missionaries in Taiwan
  • Daniel Chen, FamilySearch project manager
