The FamilySearch Library: Exploring and Understanding the Resources Available to Researchers

Sooner or later, everyone researching their family history realizes that not everything they need to do their family history is online. When you reach that realization in your research, The FamilySearch Library, the largest genealogy library in the world, is the best place to continue your family history. The library boasts more than a half a million books and serials, approximately 1.25 million rolls of microfilm (many of which can only be accessed in the library), and many more resources only found in the library. Professional and volunteer staff are available to help you one-on-one if you need it in any of our more than 375 workstations. And the best part of it all, it’s all free. Our class discussion will explore tips and tricks to better navigate and take advantage of all the library resources during your next visit.
