Nicole Gilkison LaRue, CG, AG

Nicole Gilkison LaRue, CG, AG (Great Lakes Region), is a full-time professional genealogist with a special interest in paleography, researching women, and other “brick-wall” obstacles. She has a degree in history and work experience in archives and museums around the country. Speaking experience includes the National Genealogical Society conferences (2021, 2022, 2023), the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (2020), and webinars on Legacy Family Tree Webinars. Her published articles appear in the National Genealogical Society’s National Genealogical Society Quarterly, OnBoard, and NGS Magazine. She served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Genealogists from 2017-2020.
