Rolando Kattán

Commissioner Rolando Kattán is a poet, cultural promoter, and public servant. He was elected Commissioner of the National Registry of Persons (RNP) in 2019 and is currently serving his second term (2024–2029).

He is a graduate of INCAE Business School and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He holds certifications in information security and specializes in enterprise risk management and database security.

With more than two decades of experience in the financial sector and institutional modernization, Commissioner Kattán has led transformative reforms at the RNP, including the comprehensive modernization of the national identification system, the development of a biometric validation platform, and the implementation of secure digital services for citizens, advancing Honduras’s broader digital transformation agenda.
