Virginia Shade

Virginia Shade earned her degree in Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University in 2018. During her time at BYU, she worked in the Family History Department, where she developed valuable skills in translating, transcribing, and extracting historical records.

Currently, Virginia works as a Research Specialist on the Latin America and Southern Europe team at the FamilySearch Library. She is actively working toward accreditation as an Accredited Genealogist for México, further deepening her expertise in genealogical research and historical documentation.
