Wayne CrosbyWayne Crosby graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. While attending school he started working for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint as a library attendant in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the past 33 years, he has worked for the Church in several capacities, including Family History Field Acquisitions, Family History Library Acquisitions, Restrictions Manager, Manager of the Granite Mountain Records Vault, Director of Planning and Process Management, and Director of Global Support and Acquisitions. Since 2021, he has been the Director of the Archives and Area Support division in the Church History Department. Wayne currently oversees Church History global operations, the Church’s Records Management Program, and the Church History Library in Salt Lake City, Ut, including in-person and online interactions with the records.
Wayne married Janine Shepherd in 1987. They are the parents of four sons and grandparents of two granddaughters. They live in Syracuse, Utah.
