Me Ra Koh is a master at capturing the story of your resilience. Her own Rising Phoenix story starts from the humblest of beginnings. She went from being a patient in a psychiatric ward to living out of her car to eventually capturing the beauty and resilience of families, inspiring millions of viewers through appearances and work featured on Oprah and Live with Kelly & Ryan. For almost a decade, she hosted her own show on Disney, Capture the Story with Me Ra Koh and Adventure Family. In 2007, Sony invited her to become one of their first two women sponsored photographers. Her family portraiture has been exhibited in London, New York and Los Angeles galleries and museums, and published in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Martha Stewart, Parenting, and Women’s World. Me Ra is a sought-after keynote speaker bringing laughter, inspiration, and empowerment to audiences nationwide. She is the author of six books inspiring the soul creatively and prayerfully. Me Ra and her husband recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and often joke that it’s because they’ve been in marriage counseling for 26 years. They have two young adult kids, Pascaline and Blaze.
