Donna Michelle Santistevan

Donna Michelle Santistevan is the current National Chair of DAR Junior Membership and chair of California’s DAR Specialty Research Committee. She leads efforts to raise awareness of Spanish patriot contributions—particularly donativos —by supporting researchers, guiding outreach, and creating opportunities for community engagement. Passionate about inclusion and connection, Donna brings a unique strength in bridging generations and cultures, helping others see themselves in DAR’s story and legacy. She encourages people to research their own history not only to discover patriot ties, but to better understand their identity and place in the American story.
