Sunetra Sarker Keynote: Embracing Multiculturalism

Sunetra Sarker first rose to fame as a teenager, playing Nisha Batra in the cult soap Brookside. Over the ensuing three decades, Sunetra has become a BAFTA member and a stalwart of British television. She is currently filming the fourth series of the hit drama Ackley Bridge, for which she has received significant praise for her pioneering role of Kanees.

Raised in England by parents who had come from India, Sunetra quickly became an actress of two worlds. In this keynote, she shares her inspiring journey of exploring and embracing her rich multicultural heritage.
