Mat Trotter

Mat’s passion for family history began over 25 years ago when he completed his senior project at Weber State University – a full video family history for his wife’s family. Since that time, he has delved into family history and unlocked much valuable information for both he and his wife’s families. He currently works at FamilySearch as an information systems manager. He has taught numerous classes on family history and helps people to discover their roots. He has helped many break down brick walls and find missing pieces in their family history, including his own. He lives in Ogden on the East Bench with his wife Rachel. He has six children and two grandchildren who he adores.
