Jenny Hansen, AG®, AGL®

Jenny Hansen is a professional genealogist specializing in Scandinavian research. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University and has been an Accredited Genealogist® in Danish research since 1999. In 2023, she earned the Accredited Genealogist Lecturer™ designation, demonstrating her expertise in both research and genealogical education.

As a freelance researcher and instructor, Jenny is passionate about helping others uncover their ancestral roots. She served as a commissioner for The International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) and is currently the Director of the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG), contributing to the advancement of professional genealogical standards.
