Find Your Family in Church History

Keith Erekson shares family history resources available from the Library. Keith is the director of the Church History Library, the official archive of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and home to many sacred and valuable historical records. If your family has been associated with the Church anywhere in the world, these sources can help bring your family’s story to life.

This presentation provides an orientation to the types of records in the Library--official church records including periodicals, membership records, and local unit records, as well as personal papers and photographs. It also introduces free electronic resources that can be used to search the Library's collections—the Church History Catalog, the Missionary Database, and the Pioneer Database.
