Portfolio Director FamilySearch

Bill Mangum

Bill Mangum currently serves as a Portfolio Director in the Engineering Division of the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of FamilySearch Intl. He is responsible for working with Product Managers defining services and experiences for the Church’s family history software products worldwide including FamilySearch.org.


Prior to employment with the Church, Bill has worked in Product Management and leadership roles for Citrix, Novell, Inc., WordPerfect and more. Bill has a degree in Accounting from BYU.


Bill was born in Long Beach, California. He married Carolyn Jenkins, and they are the parents of four children and have three grandchildren.


He enjoys skiing, hiking, running, and spending his time with his family in all types of outdoor activities.
