Davina Wilcock

Davina Wilcock is a passionate family historian with decades of experience researching ancestors across the British Isles and around the world. Born in southern England, her interest in genealogy began as a teenager, though limited family knowledge and reluctant relatives made early progress challenging. Years later, after becoming a mother and relocating to the English Midlands, her desire to uncover her family's story was reignited at a time when online resources and early census records were becoming increasingly accessible.

What began as a personal quest soon developed into a lifelong passion. Davina immersed herself in genealogical research, spending countless hours exploring archives, examining churchyard records, and studying historical sources. Her growing expertise led her to assist friends and clients with family history research, house histories, military records, occupational records, and the mysteries of long-lost ancestors.

Driven by curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, Davina has helped individuals from around the world discover their roots. Her research experience now extends beyond the British Isles to Ireland, mainland Europe, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Known for her inquisitive approach and creative problem-solving, she encourages researchers to "always keep an open mind and think outside the box" when tackling family history challenges.
