Jeffrey C. Humphrey

Jeff Humphrey is an entrepreneur and operator with a long record of building and sustaining businesses across retail, franchising, imports, and commercial real estate. For more than two decades, he has co-founded and grown companies alongside his wife and business partner, Marisa, helping create ventures that became well known in communities across the United States and Canada.

Jeff began his career in journalism after earning his degree from Brigham Young University. He trained as a reporter and anchor for the university newscast and completed academic programs in London, Moscow, and Prague, where he studied theatre and emerging media during a time of profound global change. These early experiences sharpened his eye for story, structure, and the human side of enterprise.

In 2003, Jeff co-founded Real Deals on Furniture in Jefferson, Georgia, located inside the historic Old Jefferson Cotton Mill. He played a central role in building a destination retail experience that served North Georgia for many years. He later co-founded Jackson and Harrison Imports, helping bring furniture and home décor from Asia into the United States for a growing network of retailers.

In 2006, Jeff helped launch Real Deals on Home Decor, a franchise that expanded to fifty locations across the United States and Canada. He contributed to the development and governance of the brand, later serving on the Board of Directors as the company matured into a nationally recognized retail network.

Jeff also co-owned and managed the Old Jefferson Cotton Mill, a one hundred-year-old, three hundred fifty thousand square foot historic property. He oversaw leasing, renovations, and long-term operations, balancing preservation with the practical demands of a complex, multi-tenant facility.

Across every venture, Jeff brings steadiness, operational discipline, and the kind of execution that turns vision into lasting organizations. He lives in the Atlanta area with Marisa. They have three children.
