Njörður SiggurðsonNjörður Siggurðson serves as Director of the National Archives of Iceland, where he leads the
preservation, protection, and accessibility of Iceland’s documentary heritage. With a strong

Before assuming the directorship, Siggurðson held senior roles within Iceland’s cultural and

digital recordkeeping systems. His work focuses on integrating traditional preservation methods
with emerging technologies, making Iceland’s historical documents more accessible to researchers,
