Thomas Fürth, Stockholm. Born 1947. PhD, Associate Professor of History at Stockholm University. President of the Genealogical Society of Sweden, and of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Sweden. »Avotaynu Contributing Editor« for Sweden. I have researched my family for more than 30 years – looking for ancestors in Central Europe as well as in Sweden and Finland. I have written books in Swedish about researching your immigrant roots for Swedes and about Jewish Genealogy. I have published several articles about the history of my family as well as more general subjects both in Swedish and English. I have been a speaker at different genealogical events in Sweden and at several IAJGS conferences in USA, France and Israel.
