CeCe Moore is the lead Investigative Genetic Genealogist for Parabon NanoLabs, and the DNA expert on “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr.” She appears frequently on national television on a variety of shows and news networks including ABC’s 20/20. She has been quoted on the subject of DNA in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and many other national and international media outlets. CeCe is a leader in creating educational resources on Investigative Genetic Genealogy and DNA at i4GG conferences, RootsTech keynote presentations and other national speaking engagements.
A career prosecutor for 33 years, Mitch Morrissey served as the elected Denver District Attorney for the 2nd Judicial District from 2005 to 2017. Mitch's work with forensic DNA dates to the 1980s and led to his becoming internationally recognized for his expertise in DNA technology and applying that technology to solve crimes. He has trained law enforcement officers and prosecutors throughout the United States, the Middle East, Central America, and Canada. He currently runs United Data Connect, a company that solves Cold Cases with DNA Investigative Genetic Genealogy. Mitch manages United Data Connect's investigations and oversees the company's in-depth training program for investigative genetic genealogists.
Mckell Keeney has been a Search Angel for adoptees and those with unknown parentage since 2016, helping people build trees using DNA matches to discover their biological relatives. She is the founder of the Phoenix East Valley DNA Interest Group, which meets at the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors' Center each month. She coordinates the Connected Tempe community ancestry project, sharing a free innovative app to show people from all over the world how they are related to early residents of the area. In 2022, Mckell completed a hands-on course in Investigative Genetic Genealogy in Denver, Colorado, taught by Joan Hanlon of United Data Connect and the DNA Doe Project. This is Mckell's fourth year presenting at RootsTech.
