Professional Genealogist
Jalyse OrtizJalyse Ortiz is an Accredited Genealogist® Professional in Germany East. She works at the FamilySearch Library as a German and Slavic Research Specialist. Jalyse graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in family history and genealogy. Jalyse completed an internship at Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum where she won the “If not for those ten….” award.
