Professional Genealogist
Markus SchönherrI have worked as a professional genealogist since 2010, based in Vienna, Austria. One of my focus areas has been probate genealogy, i.e. finding living relatives of deceased persons, as potential heirs to an estate. Apart from my native German, and English, I speak a few other languages, and understand and read several more, among them Hungarian and Romanian. I specialize in research in Vienna, the rest of Austria, and the neighboring countries like Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, and parts of Romania, Poland, Croatia, and Serbia, mainly in the 19th and 20th centuries.
