Lori Samuelson, M.A., M.Ed., NBCT Emeritus, is a professional genealogist, author, educator, and international lecturer specializing in migration, historical context, and AI-assisted genealogy research. She is the owner of Genealogy At Heart and blogs weekly at GenealogyAtHeart.com, where she explores thought-provoking and often overlooked aspects of family history.

Lori has written for numerous genealogy publications and journals and is the author of multiple family history books. She has presented for national, state, and international genealogy organizations, including RootsTech, NGS Family History Conference, the Association of Professional Genealogists Professional Management Conference, Palatines to America, and the International Congress of Genealogical and Heraldic Sciences.
