Strategic Growth – UK 1911 Census OakTree Project

Purpose
The Strategic Growth - UK 1911 Census OakTree Project Team works mainly with the Europe-North America international homeland (and with others when needed) to promote new projects and activities according to the needs of the organization. The OakTree team currently focuses on the UK 1911 Census Project. As a service missionary, your primary responsibility will be to process records (1911 census families) in accordance with project standards. In this way, we enable inspiring journeys that bring joy to all people as they discover, gather, and connect their family - past, present, and future.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be defined according to the specific needs of the different roles, and will include, but not be limited to:

  • Learning the project
  • Processing the records
  • Training and mentoring team members
  • Recruiting new team members
  • Attending training meetings

Qualifications

Our service missionaries are temple-worthy and will have:
  • A strong testimony of the work of salvation
  • Intermediate computer skills 
  • Basic or intermediate research skills
  • The flexibility to work independently and with other teams
  • The ability to adapt to change and new assignments
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills 
  • A knowledge of FamilySearch and Family Tree (preferred)
  • A desire to follow published project standards.
