Church-operated FamilySearch Center Mission
Family history missionaries help enable inspiring journeys that bring joy to all people as they discover, gather, and connect their family—past, present, and future. One way a missionary or volunteer can help with this effort is by serving at one of the 14 Church-operated FamilySearch centers in Utah (Layton, Lehi, Logan, Ogden, Riverton, St. George), Idaho (Idaho Falls, Pocatello), Nevada (Las Vegas), and California (Losa Angeles, Oakland, Orange. Sacramento, San Diego). Young Service Missionaries may also serve in Stake-supported FamilySearch Centers.
Missionaries and volunteers serving in Church-operated FamilySearch centers support family and priesthood efforts by doing some of the following tasks:

Time Commitment: The minimum number of service hours varies by individual Church-operated FamilySearch center. A commitment of at least one year is required.
